Day 7: Create a Life Map
This exercise included completing pages 6-13 of the Life Mapping Workbook; inset of the 31 Days program. Each page asked you to detail your ideal life in the 7 areas we touched on earlier and gave you room to let your thoughts & desires flow freely. I tried to be as detailed as possible in each area, once the each section was detailed out, summarize the main points and that is your life map.
My Life Map:

- Put money away for J's college
Family & Friends
- Keep getting stronger with my family and helping make them more independent from me
- Find a few good friends to share some of my new lifestyle experiences
- My son and I have a great relationship - continue to grow that stronger and stronger
Love & Romance

- Spend our time traveling, laughing & connecting in all areas (emotionally, spiritually, mentally)
- Have fun enjoying my singledom
Personal & Spiritual Growth
- Continue gaining knowledge in areas that interest me & continue my walk with God.
Day 8: Do One Thing
I was challenged to make one step toward a specific goal I've identified during the challenge, either from my life map or personal mission statement. This is not to be confused with your daily to-do list. The one "thing" should meet at least one of the following:
- Something you've been procrastinating on for a long time
- Something that terrifies you
- Something that inspires me
* The "thing" should be tangible.
My thing: Scheduled a 90 minute massage for tomorrow (11/16).
This goes along with my desire to pamper myself more. As a single mother, I've gotten into the very bad habit of neglecting myself. I always find an excuse to put it off... well, NO MAS! LOL! It's been 9 months since my last massage and I am thoroughly excited.
Til tomorrow...
